What would you do if you had time to spare?
Would you travel or read or go to a fair?
When I found out that I had time on my hands,
I panicked for a moment and then started to make plans.
I crafted and sewed and cut and pleated.
I researched about sole proprietorships and sales tax and business certificates.
I played with my dogs and watched Jervo X-Box.
I continued my business research, which was a pain in the buttocks.
But then I had it!
A business of my own!
Vosston: crafts and accessories
My stuff’s got a home!
So, if you like things as much as I do…
Or you need to shop for that person who loves you…
I’ve got bags and pouches and wrist cuffs galore.
Plus, I’m still making stuff, so there’ll always be more!
By the way…
Let me just say…
If you don’t like my stuff, it’s quite all right.
I’ll never even know you went to the site.
Much love to you all and have a good night!
Katharine - I’m going to stop rhyming now…
I just wanted to tell all the crafters out there about this great site:
They have links of good fabric and other craft supply sites, free tutorials, and a directory of people selling their crafts.
Great site for research and wasting time!
I made this blue bag. Not only do I like the bag, but I like saying "blue bag". I'm a sucker for alliteration. blue bag.
Did you know that:
A chinchilla sounds like a chirp or peep. Chinchillas also cackle, and emit a sound "kee-kee-kee"
I am not a chinchilla... but I must say...
Kee-Kee-Kee!!
I had to keep myself busy. Six Characters is on hiatus until 2008. My comic book hobby was tapping my wallet and all I had to show for it was a box full of yellow pages and an odd crush on Wolverine. If I don't have a hobby, all I do is sit on my ass and watch TV. Making sock puppets was out since I made one for everyone I know. But, what could I do? Well, what did I need? Bags! I could sew myself a bag! I was going to go dancing and needed a bag I could throw over my shoulder and forget about. A bag that didn't make my pits sweat. So that is what I did, I made a bag. Then I didn't want to stop. My new hobby found me.
Several years ago, I started making sock puppets of my family and friends. Nothing like giving a person a sock version of him/herself for Christmas. As the years went by, they got more and more elaborate. Let's be honest. They're socks. They're not going to actually look like the person. What really sells it are the accessories. I always have fun with the small stuff. The details bring out each person's personality.
Check out these new videos from the group Six Characters!! Funny and also educational...kind of.

That about explains it.
My friend thinks I am a pessimist. I like to think that I’m always ready to be happily surprised.
